Stay Ahead with ICONIQ

In September, Max Junestrand, Legora’s co-founder and CEO, joined us on stage at ICONIQ Frontier, our AI forum in San Francisco. He spoke with boldness and clarity about AI’s impact on the legal field and what it takes to build enduring companies in this new era of AI. 

His remarks highlighted three themes that embody Legora’s ethos: speed as a strategic imperative, building a culture of excellence and winning, and customer obsession.

Speed as a Strategic Imperative:

For Max, speed isn’t just about moving fast, it’s a way of building advantage. From Legora’s earliest days, he and his team recognized that urgency would be essential to winning in such a dynamic market. That belief has shaped a culture defined by momentum: incredible product velocity including recently launching Workflows and Word Actions, tight feedback loops across a rapidly growing global team, and a shared commitment to learning and contributing quickly. Max describes speed as a strategic imperative and, in its own way, a moat, an energy that keeps the company ahead of competitors while the market continues to evolve. By pairing that pace with discipline and customer focus, Legora has turned execution velocity into a visible edge. As our friend Bret Taylor, CEO and Co-founder of Sierra, said at ICONIQ Frontier, “execution compounds, especially in a market that moves as quickly as AI.”
