Stay Ahead with ICONIQ

As AI expands exponentially within the enterprise, it is no longer a question of whether it will transform how work gets done. It is a question of whether it can be trusted to do so responsibly, at scale, and for the work that matters most.

That is why we are honored to co-lead Anthropic's Series G and double-down on a partnership with a company we believe will define this era of technology—revealing how the impossible could become possible.

Since our initial investment, Anthropic has delivered on something few thought achievable: leading models, leading applications, and leading responsibility. Claude Opus 4.5 and 4.6 delivered step function improvements in reasoning and opened the mind further to the agentic imagination.

One powerful expression of this progress is Claude Code, which is defining a category of agents. In less than nine months after launching, Claude Code reached a $2.5B run-rate—a product-led adoption curve that rewrote what we believed possible in enterprise AI. 

At ICONIQ, we have witnessed this ourselves, both as internal users of Claude Code and across our portfolio and wider community. Teams are harnessing Claude Code to accelerate product development and engineering velocity with exceptional results. We have seen it  become the rare kind of tool: one that improves the company building it. Anthropic is accelerating its own development with each release, a virtuous flywheel with compounding returns. As Mike Krieger, Head of Anthropic Labs, recently shared, Claude Code is now writing code for nearly 100% of products inside of Anthropic.

And we are still in early days.

What excites us most is what comes next. Anthropic is applying frontier capabilities to mission-critical domains: healthcare, life sciences, financial services, education, and public institutions. The recent launch of Claude Cowork, an agentic assistant for knowledge work, signals a clear ambition: to do for the enterprise what Claude Code has done for developers.

Anthropic continues to execute with uncommon focus across team, product, and customer impact. Dario and the leadership team have assembled one of the most talent-dense organizations in AI, perhaps in all of technology, grounded in a mission-driven culture that we believe will compound over time. That conviction is shared by hyperscalers and accelerators alike: Anthropic is now the only frontier model company operating at scale across all major cloud platforms and architectures, ensuring its models can be delivered across the globe.

How we navigate AI's adolescence, as Dario has written, will define its long-term impact. Anthropic's approach is clear to us: building systems that are transparent, trustworthy, and transformational.

We are grateful to deepen our partnership with the entire Anthropic team. We believe the future of AI will be defined not just by building the impossible, but by how we build it. The work ahead is immense, and we are more confident than ever in the leadership of Dario, Daniela and the broader Anthropic team as they pursue their mission to help shape the future of AI.
